Just a post saying that this project is still being worked on... just very slowly.
A comic is most likely out of the question, at least with Jesse on art full time. He's damn busy making games.
The project may see fruition in the next year with some short pulp narrative adventure, done in the old Pulp style like Weird Tales etc. I'm hoping to get an actual pulp magazing off the ground, maybe 8-12 stories with art and fake ads, all the fun stuff. I'll keep you updated on that.
I'm also hoping to do an animated short with Devil Dog Derringer!

Dover Demon!!!
I'm going to try and get this blog on a more consistent update schedule, hopefully with more content for you all.
I started a character bio page last week and am currently revising it. Each new character will get their own time to shine here on the front page too.
So to start it off, here's Dover!
Dover Demon
Age: Unknown
Weapons: Brute strength, gadgets, sandwiches
Bio: Little is known of this member of the Roof Top Seven. He is large and extremely strong with the ability to channel energy into inhuman feats of strength. Unfortunately he pays a huge price, going from massive fatigue to possibly needing to sleep for weeks, all depending on how much energy he channels.
It is rumored Dover may not be human but perhaps an alien from space, a mutant or even a creature from the depths. No one has ever seen him with out his mask or suit so nothing can be verified.
Although, for such an imposing figure, he is generally very nice and quite generous. A fantastic friend to have on your side. Dover is not very talkative, keeping his speech very short and concise. He has been known to crack the random joke here and there, but it's very rare. He likes to keep to him self when not on missions, and no one really knows where he goes or what he does.
He seems to have an unending array of tech at his disposal and usually always has something to benefit any given mission. Be it electrical blasts, smoke bombs, electric whips, grenades, he is always changing his arsenal for each mission.
He also makes the "Best damn sandwich" Steve has ever eaten.
So there you have it. Dover Demon. Easily one of my favorite characters to write.
In a couple days i'll be updating with another revised bio with some new art to go with it.

Pin up
Lets get the meat of this post outta the way first shall we...
BAM!!!
Here is the first full on pin up! It's a great teaser for what's in store for the first story arc!
Currently writing second story arc and lettering pages after Jesse inks them. Then he'll go in a color them.
This is a dream come true and took a long ass time to get started thanks to me. But this year is all about changes for me and to stop procrastinating on the things that mean so much to me. This is no flash in the pan 5 minute distraction for me. I'm in it for the long term.
I can't wait for all of you to finally see what we're cooking up.

Steve Cleaver
Here is the final design for Steve Cleaver.
He has probably been the hardest character to nail down for the first chapter. He kept coming up too sporty.
He is still a bit sporty (we were going for a leather head style look) but his character is pretty independent and self financed. So his gear is made outta what ever he could throw together. He's our Casey Jones :)
Also, here's a couple Work in Progress pics so you can see his development a bit.
